Gold for Lemon Meringue

A long-flowering plant for the summer that needs little pruning and is very hardy. These are some of the assets of the new Potentilla Fructicosa ‘Lemon Meringue’. As the name suggests, this is a plant with pale yellow flowers. The exceptional thing is that they are double flowers that look like roses. The plant remains very compact and needs little pruning. It was developed on the cold Canadian plains and is very tough and hardy. Willy De Nolf launched this variety in 2016 and it immediately caused a stir. Lemon Meringue was given a gold award at the Florall trade fair. The jury was very enthusiastic about its double flowers, which they considered gave it a definite added value.
